Delete your MixTale account
You can delete your MixTale account and everything in it at any time. It can't be undone.
In the app
- Open MixTale and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type your username to confirm, then tap Delete account.
Your account is deleted straight away, and the app carries on as a guest.
Without the app
Email help@klipx.app with the subject “Delete my MixTale account”. Send it from the email address on your account, and include your @username. We'll delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.
What's deleted
- Your profile: username, display name and profile picture.
- Your stories, published or not, with their lyrics, songs and covers, and the photos you uploaded.
- Your likes, follows and blocks, and the reports you sent.
- Any credits you have left.
- Your sign-in details.
What's kept, and for how long
- Copies in our backups are overwritten within 30 days.
- Crash reports, which aren't linked to your name, are kept for up to 90 days.
- Reports other people made about your published stories may be kept as moderation records.
Listening without an account?
Without an account, MixTale only keeps your likes and follows, under an anonymous identifier that isn't linked to your name. Uninstalling the app removes everything kept on your phone. To have your likes and follows removed from our servers too, email us.
