Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Klipx Limited (“we”, “us”) for using MixTale. Klipx Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17221685), with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. By using MixTale, you agree to them, to our Community Guidelines and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use MixTale
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live requires a parent's or guardian's permission at your age, you need it too.
2. Your account
You can listen without an account. To create stories, you need one with a confirmed email address. Keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. Your username must not impersonate anyone. We may reclaim usernames that do, or that break these terms.
3. Credits
Making songs and AI covers uses credits. New accounts get free credits. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred. They also can't be exchanged for money unless the law requires it. We may change what things cost in credits. If we offer credits or plans for sale, buying them is also covered by the app store's terms. The app explains when a song that couldn't be made is retried for free, or when its credits come back.
4. What you make
You keep whatever rights you have in what you put into MixTale: your briefs, the lyrics you write or edit, and the photos you upload. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, adapt, process, display, play and distribute that content, and the songs and covers made from it, so we can run MixTale. That includes making songs and covers from what you write, and showing your published stories to other people. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You must have the rights to everything you put into MixTale. Don't use other people's lyrics, stories, photos, names or trademarks without permission.
5. AI-made content
Lyrics, songs and covers are made with third-party AI from what you provide. AI output can be unexpected or inaccurate. It may resemble other work, and it may not be protected by copyright everywhere. We don't promise that it's free of other people's rights, or that you can use it commercially. You're responsible for what you publish, including what the AI made. If the AI makes something harmful, please report it in the app.
6. The rules
Follow the Community Guidelines. We may review, hide or remove content, and limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, or that put people or MixTale at risk. When several people report a story, we may hide it while we review it.
Don't misuse MixTale. That means no scraping, no automating requests and no trying to get around limits or security. Don't try to make songs or covers in ways that avoid paying for them, and don't interfere with how MixTale works.
7. Changes and availability
MixTale is new and changing. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We'll try to give notice of changes that affect you significantly.
8. Ending
You can stop using MixTale at any time, and delete your account from the app. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. When we can, we'll tell you why.
9. Our responsibility
We provide MixTale “as is”. As far as the law allows, we don't give promises beyond those in these terms. We aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, for content other people publish, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud. If you're a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
10. The law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date above. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using MixTale after that, you accept the new terms.
